JAKE MOVES UP TO 11U MAJORS

WITH COLUMBIA HEAT

 

Jake Mueller joined the Columbia Heat, a USSSA 11U Majors team based in South Carolina, in February 2008. In his first four tournaments with the Heat, Jake is batting .450 (18-for-40) with 17 runs scored, 12 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 15 games total. On the mound, Jake has appeared in three games in relief, allowing one earned run on one hit with four walks and five strikeouts, for a 1.75 ERA.

 

In their four tournaments so far this spring, the Heat are 9-6 overall, taking first place in the Spring Shootout in Lexington March 29-30. Next up for the Heat will be the Super NIT in Charlotte April 19-20 for a chance to qualify for the World Series at Disney in July.
