JAKE CLOSES OUT FIRST SEASON WITH COLUMBIA HEAT

 

For Jake Mueller, his first season with the USSSA 11U Majors Columbia Heat is in the books. In 43 games with the Heat, Jake batted .408 (42-for-103) with a .516 on-base percentage, 41 runs scored, 45 stolen bases in 47 attempts, and 25 RBI, batting mostly out of the No. 2 hole in the lineup.

Defensively, Jake appeared in 22 games at second base, 10 games at shortstop and 11 games in center field, committing only four errors in more than 100 chances.

The Heat finished the Spring 2008 season ranked No. 2 in the state of South Carolina in 11U Majors.
