2008 SPRING/SUMMER · Age 12 · Batted .759 (22-for-29) with six walks, 12 doubles, two triples, 24 RBI and 24 runs scored in 11 games, leading West Augusta Giants to the West Augusta Dixie Youth (11-12) championship. Defense — One error in 28 chances at SS. Pitching — 33 innings, five earned runs, six walks and 58 strikeouts in 11 games. · Named to West Augusta Dixie Youth All Stars. Batted .500 (2-for-4) with one walk and two runs scored in two games. · In 43 games with the Columbia Heat USSSA U11 Majors team, Jake batted .408 (42-for-103) with a .516 on-base percentage, 41 runs scored, 45 stolen bases in 47 attempts, and 25 RBI. Defense — 22 games at second base, 10 games at shortstop and 11 games in center field, committing only four errors in more than 100 chances. Pitching — 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA in four appearances (two starts), walked nine, struck out eight, allowed seven hits in nine innings. · Named Most Valuable Player of Aquinas High School Baseball Camp for second consecutive year.
2007 FALL · Age 10/11 · Batted .567 (21-for-37) with three walks, 10 doubles, two triples, two home runs 22 RBI and 16 runs scored in 10 games for West Augusta Cubs in Dixie Youth (11-12) Fall Season. Defense — Two errors in 27 chances at SS. Pitching — 16 innings, five earned runs, seven walks, 19 strikeouts in six games. · Batted .576 (33-for-59) with 15 walks 31 runs scored, 23 RBI and 48 stolen bases in 49 attempts in 25 games for the Georgia Lightning USSSA 11U travel ball team. On the mound for the Lightning, went 2-3 with one save and a 1.38 ERA in 10 appearances, striking out 23 and walking 15 while allowing 27 hits in 26 innings pitched. Made one error in 43 total chances at SS, 3B and 2B.
2007 SPRING/SUMMER · Age 10 · First spring season of Augusta Parks & Recreation Department Dixie Youth Majors (11-12) and first season of West Augusta Little League Majors (11-12). · Batted .635 (40-for-63) with 10 walks, 12 doubles, four triples, 16 RBI and 28 runs scored in 24 games for W.A.L.L. Defense — Two errors in 25 chances at SS. Pitching — Six innings, one earned run, four walks, eight strikeouts. · Batted .765 (26-for-34) with three walks, 10 doubles, three triples, 10 RBI and 20 runs scored in 12 games for APRD Giants. Defense — Two errors in 28 chances at SS and 2B. Pitching — 13.1 innings, six earned runs, eight walks, 26 strikeouts. · Named to West Augusta Little League All-Stars and West Augusta Recreation Dixie Youth All Stars. Dixie Youth All Stars — Batted .500 (6-for-12) with two doubles, one walk and four runs scored; also pitched two shutout innings with five strikeouts. WALL All-Stars — Batted .571 (8-for-14) with two walks, one double, one triple, two home runs (inside the park), nine RBI, and eight runs scored in four games. On the mound, Jake allowed only one earned run in six innings (two games) with three walks and 10 strikeouts. · Named Most Valuable Player of Aquinas High School Baseball Camp, despite being youngest player at camp by three years.
2006 FALL · Age 9 · First fall season of Augusta Recreation & Parks Department Dixie Youth Majors (11-12) — Cubs · Batted .590 (13-for-22) with nine walks, four doubles, two triples, 10 RBI and 15 runs scored. Played 10 games at shortstop and pitched three games. Struck out 10 batters in six innings.
2006 SPRING · Age 9 · First spring season of Augusta Recreation & Parks Department live pitch 9-10 year old division — A’s · Batted .730 (19-for-26) with two home runs, seven doubles, six triples, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored. Played 12 games at shortstop and pitched six games. Struck out 14 batters in 10 innings.
2005 FALL · Age 8 · Moved up to ARPD 9-10 year old live pitch division — Yankees · Batted .686 (24-for-35) with two home runs, 10 doubles, two triples, 21 RBI and 20 runs scored. · Played 10 games at shortstop and pitched four games. Committed just one error in 27 total chances. Struck out 10 batters in 8 innings.
2005 SPRING · Age 8 · Third season in Augusta Recreation & Parks Department Machine Pitch League — Diamondbacks. · Batted .900 (36-for-40) with five home runs, 16 doubles, six triples, 28 RBI and 32 runs scored. Reached base safely in all 40 at-bats. · Played 10 games at shortstop and one at first base. Committed just two errors in 39 total chances. · Led Diamondbacks to 10-1 record and second straight league title. · Winner of “Coach’s Award” at Aquinas High School Baseball Camp June 2005

2003 · Age 6 · First season in Augusta Recreation & Parks Department Machine Pitch League — White Sox · Batted .733 (22-for-30) with 12 doubles, three triples, 21 RBI and 18 runs scored.
