FAMILY: Mom, Marybeth; Dad, Rob; Sister, Shelby (14); brother, Kevin (6). Jake’s dad, Rob Mueller, is head coach of the St. Mary’s middle school baseball team. The Saints won the CSRA championship in 2007 — the school’s first championship in more than 20 years. Rob also coaches the Aquinas High School JV summer ball squad and is in his fifth season coaching with the Augusta Recreation Department. Rob also is a former sportswriter for The Augusta Chronicle and the former General Manager of the Augusta Lynx professional hockey team.
